How do you use grill oven pan?

I want to make hamburgers but i dont have a grill, instead i found a grill oven pan. but I dont know how to use it. Can somebody tell me how? I need to know what degrees i need to put it in.

Probe thermometer for puddings cakes etc?

I use a probe thermometer for cooking joints of meat but does anybody know if it can be used for cooking cakes and pouddings. I cant seem to find a tempreature guideline.
